The mandate is to develop a variety of bilingual educational products and services about the law for the public in order to promote access to the legal system. The goal is to assist the public in identifying and understanding their legal rights and responsibilities with a view to improving their ability to deal with legal matters.
They offer a publication program, a legal speaker’s bureau, a video lending service and family law workshops. The Family Law Information line provides registration for “For the Sake of the Children” (a free course on parenting after separation) and general information on family law matters including how to complete and file forms.
