MedicAlert® provides a unique combination of medical identification products and services that protect the lives of Canadians with allergies, health conditions or special medical needs. Membership is comprised of the purchase of a custom- engraved MedicAlert® bracelet or necklet coupled with an annual membership fee. Membership services include maintaining a portable medical record on behalf of the member stored on a confidential database.
In an emergency, MedicAlert® provides immediate access to a member’s vital medical information through the MedicAlert® 24-Hour Emergency Hotline engraved on the bracelet or necklet. Through Member Assistance™ and Students First™ Assistance, MedicAlert® offers subsidized memberships for Canadians with medical conditions who have limited financial means.
